Shri Ganesh Dutt S/O late Shri Thakur Dutt, a Post Graduate and a Journalist by profession born on 05/12/1954 is presently Editor of Monal Times. He has been actively related to Rashtriya Sewak Sangh for the last 31 years in different social organization as Sewak.

He has been a member of Jansangh prior
to 1972 and remained Secretary of Shimla Urban w.e.f. 1982 to 1988.
He was elected as Councillor of Shimla Municipal Committee in 1986.
He also shouldered the responsibility of General Secretary of Yuva
Morcha of State BJP in 1989. Mr. Dutt remained as Vice President of
Distt. Shimla Bhartiya Janata Party in 1991 and served the party as
member of State Working Committee in 1993. Mr. Dutt remained
as BJP State Secretary and Party Spokesman w.e.f. 1994 to 2003.
During this period he was given the responsibility to head the State
Media affairs. He also remained Vice Chairman of erstwhile
Himachal Pradesh Housing Board (Now HIMUDA) w.e.f. 1999 to 2003.
Mr. Dutt successfully hold the position of Observer of Kangra
Parliamentary Constituency w.e.f. 2000 to 2003.
Presently Mr. Ganesh Dutt is Spokesperson of Bhartiya Janata Party and a member of State Grievances
Committee of Himachal Pradesh. Mr. Dutt has been nominated as
Vice Chairman of HIMUDA w.e.f. 30/10/2008.
