Himachal Pradesh Housing & Urban Development Authority has entered upon to render Design, Consultancy and Supervisory services to various departments at the lowest possible charges.

1.  Design and Consultancy Services:

     Under these services the HIMUDA shall be doing the job of preparation of survey plan feasibility reports, Architectural and Structural drawings and preparation of detailed estimates of the projects.  The HIMUDA shall be charging 3% of the estimated cost for providing these services.  HIMUDA have fully functional/computerised, structural design cell headed by Superintending Engineer (Design) and having one Executive Engineer supported by the Assistant Engineers and Graduate Junior Engineers to look after the design work.  Similarly HIMUDA have in house Architectural wings headed by Two Sr. Architects under the overall control of Chief Executive Officer-cum-Secretary.

2.    Supervisory and Quality Assurance Services:

       These services includes the supervision of the construction of the projects by the Engineer/Architects of the HIMUDA.  The work shall however be executed by the client department themselves through some outside agency but the Housing & Urban Development Authority shall be certifying the measurements and also exercise various quality control tests.  HIMUDA will charge 4% of the estimated cost for such services.

3.    Execution of Projects:

       Under these services HIMUDA take up the execution of projects, whereas consultancy and design etc. shall be arranged by the client departments themselves.  This should include supervisory and quality assurance services and as well as the execution of the projects as a whole through contractors or departmentally.  HIMUDA charges 10% Administrative charges for rendering such services.

4.    Execution of projects on Turnkey Basis:

       Under turnkey basis, the HIMUDA take up the execution of projects complete in Toto i.e. preparation of survey plan feasibility reports, Architectural, Structural drawings, preparation of detailed estimates and execution of projects.  The HIMUDA charges 17% Administrative charges for providing such services.
